Boy, that’s gotta be the most awkward situation Agent 42 has ever found himself in!

hmm, maybe not

In any case, welcome back to another mid-week update of Average Joe! You know, I do believe that this is the first time those two have had the opportunity to speak to each other, although they have run into each other before. It’ll be interesting to see what they have to talk about without Joe around to jump in the way and steal all the attention ;-)

I’ve never understood the whole ‘the enemy of my enemy is my friend’ dictum, much less the oft-seen in works of fiction ‘the enemy of my enemy is my lover’ – I mean, it just seems to me like you’re inviting a whole lot of hassle every time you team up with someone who’s only ever got in your way or tried to kill you before, and historically, it doesn’t usually end well…oh well, I guess we’ll see how these guys play it out (or don’t) in the coming strips!

If you know any good examples where this sort of teaming up makes sense, let me know in the comments below!

Until Sunday, Averaginos!
